Stories of zombies originated in the Afro-Caribbean spiritual belief system of Vodoun. The Zombi Voodoo doll reflects the apocalyptic monster zombi archetype, reflecting the manifestation of the personal and collective shadow of a society that is capable of perpetuating death and destruction on the innocent. One by one, friends and loved ones are zombified, and their numbers increase exponentially until we are all consumed by a psychic, spiritual, and physical plague of our own making.

Zombie Voodoo Doll

These zombie Voodoo dolls are crafted after the great Voodoo zombie archetype. They are constructed in the traditional New Orleans Voodoo manner out of Spanish moss and sticks, and the head, chest, and hands are handcrafted out of polymer clay and painted. There is an evil eye bead in his head, the mouth is open with teeth, and a bit of straggly hair on top of the head.  They are self-standing and measure approximately 12 -18 inches tall. These zombi dolls are one of a kind, which means no two are exactly alike. There will be differences in clothing, stance, and facial features. They come signed by the artist for authenticity.

Custom Zombie Bottle

Whether you are a serious collector of Voodoo art, or a conjurer wishing to step up your magic a notch, one of these zombi bottles is right for you. These zombie bottles are created in a secret mystical tradition that requires a great deal of skill and knowledge. Only a few Voodoo artists still create these special  and unique magickal fetishes. They are each completely unique, individual creations and no two are alike. They are created from vintage bottles and their heads are hand-sculpted out of clay to function as a cork to the bottle. To open the bottle, simply pull off the head.

Over the centuries, people across cultures have had their own versions of the Genie in the bottle. Africans have been known for their colorful blue bottles hung on the outside of their huts for the purpose of capturing evil spirits. This practice was brought by slaves to the southern United States, where you can find bottle trees in the countryside.

Often zombie bottles will contain more than one spirit. It is believed that whoever owns the bottle also owns the spirit residing inside the bottle. The spirit is there to do your bidding and will not respond to anyone other than its owner.

Stories abound about strange things happening once a zombie bottle is brought into the home. If you are tuned in, the spirits inside have been known to sing or speak. They are said to be great protectors of the home and are sometimes placed beside the front door to ward off evil and negativity. Others choose to create a special place on an altar for them and feed them regularly special foods that keep them happy. In Louisiana, they sometimes function as the house protector and take orders from a shelf or mantle to fiercely protect whomever they are told to defend.

These zombi bottles come consecrated and ready to house your own zombi astral. Included are instructions for summoning your own spirit to capture and keep in the bottle. Created by New Orleans born Voodoo artist, each zombi bottle comes with a certificate of authenticity.
